Vitawaves solves two problems:

1. Providing cancer patients with an easy-to-use platform to chronicle their day-to-day experience with cancer.  Paper journals and diaries can be lost, stolen, read by others without permission, hard to read when your handwriting is challenged from treatments and medications, and impossible to connect images, audio, and digital health records.   Vitawaves is the world’s first cancer patient-focused digital journal.

2. Most of the time, updating friends and family is a pain.   With Vitawaves, you designate who gets to read what from your journal.  Vitawaves lets you update dozens of people with a single click, and you can update your doctors, too.

“Vita” in Latin, literally, life.

“Waves” Webster’s dictionary defines a wave as: a disturbance or variation.  Waves also refers to the act of waving, as if to greet someone.
